Torre el Rengle II, a residential project by ON-A in collaboration with Sorigué, has been featured in Proarquitectura No. 186, a special edition dedicated to energy efficiency and sustainability. Located on Mataró’s seafront, the development continues the architectural language established by Torre el Rengle I, reinterpreting its flowing curves and distinctive white GRC bands, which bring movement, identity and a striking visual presence to the façade.
Designed to maximise both residents’ comfort and the building’s relationship with its surroundings, Torre el Rengle II combines contemporary architecture, energy efficiency and high-quality residential design. The project features a high-performance building envelope made up of curved GRC panels with integrated thermal insulation, as well as a connection to Mataró’s Tub Verd district heating and cooling network, helping to optimise the building’s energy performance and reduce its environmental impact.
The inclusion of Torre el Rengle II in Proarquitectura No. 186 highlights an architectural proposal that brings together innovation, sustainability and design, reinforcing ON-A’s commitment to creating efficient, responsible residential developments that respond to the needs of the contemporary city.
