Broadening biotech horizons with Bioo at Smart City Expo World Congress 2023

Shaping a greener world, ON-A expands biotech horizons with Bioo at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2023 (SCEWC), which took place from 7-9 November at the Fira de Barcelona exhibition centre in L’Hospitalet. The world’s largest and most influential event on urban innovation, it aims to connect leaders from the most progressive companies, governments and organisations to move cities toward a better future.


ON-A had the opportunity to present its most outstanding projects in biotechnology at Bioo’s stand: “Biotech City, a self-sufficient city designed for extreme habitats”, “Biotech Tower, green facades that immerse urban dwellers in a green oasis” and “The Green Shadow, modular architecture combining functionality, aesthetics and sustainability”.

Thanks to the collaboration with Bioo it is possible to develop ambitious projects with a sustainable vision. This collaboration symbolises our strong determination to bring together architecture and green technology to forge a brighter and greener future for all.

Bioo is a leading biotech company at the convergence of nature and green technology. Together we are redefining the boundaries of sustainability and energy efficiency in urban design. Congratulations to Bioo for receiving the “Green Exhibitor Award” at the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC). The award for the most sustainable stand was given for the energy efficiency of the space it occupied at the fair, which was lit with energy produced on site thanks to the indoor garden built with its Bioo Panel biobatteries.
