Sant Andreu metro station

Can a subway station change its look? Can the passengers change the image of the space? We want the regular user to feel the station every day in a different way and that their waiting time may not be indifferent. The main intention for the refurbishment of Sant Andreu’s station was to renew the cladding, signage and facilities in the most sober and effective way to emphasize and highlight the intervention on the dome. A complex system of lighting and projectors located in the structure of the central platform illuminate this great space, creating different scenes that make the area changeable and alive.
